Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary

Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary

Quoted from Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary website:

“Bonorong is not a zoo. We are a sanctuary specialising in the care and rehabilitation of orphaned and injured wildlife while giving you an up-close and personal experience. All our animals are here for a reason and a significant majority of our funding comes from our generous guests that visit the park. We need you to visit us to continue our work.  It is as much about you as it is our valuable critters. We are open every day of the year including weekends and public holidays (except Christmas Day).

When you step inside the big, old wooden gate at Bonorong, you are stepping inside the home of our animals – a home that is the perfect climate and environment for their needs. We have one of the largest mobs of friendly, free-ranging kangaroos and wallabies. You can meet them all by hand-feeding them with the complimentary bag of animal feed we give you on your arrival.

The animals of Bonorong are loved and cherished by all of the staff here at the Park and we are sure you will love them too. ”

Tours are at 11.00am and 2.00pm.      The tours are very informative.
